iOptron CEM40

The iOptron® CEM40 mount is a center-balanced equatorial mount. Weighing in at only 7.9 kg, this mount can support a payload of up to 18 kg (or 40 lbs, as it’s name implies).

iOptron CEM70EC

The CEM70EC offers the benefits of the revolutionary “center balanced” design: stability, accuracy, and smooth mechanical operation, while capable of carrying a payload up to 70 lbs (31.8 kg). This particular “EC” version features a high presicion encoder in the right ascension (RA) axis, reducing significantly it’s periodic error.

iOptron CEM26

Mount designed with portability in mind, weighing in at only 10 lbs (4.5 kg) while supporting up to a 26lb (12 kg) payload, an incredible 2.6 mount weight to payload ratio.

ZWO AM5

AstroTrac TT320X Sky Tracker

The AstroTrac TT320X is an easy to use, highly portable and accurate sky tracking mount.

It was our first sky tracker, and despite the fact we do not really use it anymore, it opened us the world of long exposures.

The AstroTrac at the top of the APEX control room is shown in the pictures to the right. Good and amazing old times
